Greek Galotyri Dessert with Berry Compote

Galotyri makes a fabulous dessert ingredient due to its tangy and creamy qualities.

Method:

  1. Place berries and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Cook, stirring until sugar dissolves. Bring to a rapid simmer. Cook for a further 10-15 minutes until thickened and sticky.
  3. Remove from the heat and cool completely. Add cooled compote to the Galotryi and serve.
