Baked Aphroduite Feta with Za’atar

Only 5 ingredients needed to make this yummy Feta dish!
Ingredients:
- 250g / 8.8oz tub Aphrodite Barrel Aged Feta PDO
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Ground black pepper
- 2 tsp za’atar
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Crusty baguette
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C | 350°F.
- Add olive oil, garlic & pepper to an oven-proof baking dish.
- Add the 2 slices of feta from the tub (without brine) into the oil and garlic, turning feta to cover both sides in oil. Marinate longer if you have the time.
- Sprinkle the top of the feta with za’atar.
- Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Squeeze lemon juice over feta prior to serving.
- Serve with crusty bread or a green salad with tomatoes.
